The last six years have been spent in fintech and crypto: financial advisor tooling at Northwestern Mutual, staking and transfers at Gemini, and now money movement at Coinbase. The work I find most rewarding starts in ambiguity. A screen with too many decisions. A concept that only makes sense to insiders. A flow that grew bespoke across teams. The job is usually to find the mental model users actually have and then strip everything else away. The best version is the one that feels obvious in hindsight.
