A scalable staking product for retail and institutions
About
I recently led a project to launch a comprehensive crypto staking product. Our goal was to cater to both retail and institutional users through two offerings: Staking and Staking Pro. I wanted to create an experience that would make staking and managing crypto assets straightforward for users of all levels. It was important to me that we developed an advanced product with plenty of options for experienced users, while also offering an approachable solution for those new to crypto.
Objective
I set out with several key objectives in mind. First and foremost, I wanted to create an intuitive staking experience that would be accessible to users regardless of their expertise level. Safety and security were paramount – I knew our users needed to feel confident when staking and unstaking their assets.
I also aimed to provide tools for tracking investment performance and comparing rates between assets. Education was another priority; I wanted to help demystify the staking process for newcomers. From a business perspective, I focused on developing a scalable solution that could grow with the evolving crypto landscape. Of course, ensuring compliance with industry security and regulatory requirements was non-negotiable.
Ultimately, I hoped to position our company as a strong competitor in the Validator as a Service (VaaS) space and attract users from centralized exchanges.
